Gene Cloning

We serve to clone any gene of interest from both prokaryotic and eukaryotic organisms. Based on the customer's requirement, expression of the gene of interest can be under control of an inducible promoter such as lac, araBAD, tet, tac and T7.

Determination of transcriptional start site

Using RNA ligase mediated PCR, we serve to determine the transcriptional start site of any gene or operon of interest.

Quantitation of gene expression

1)      Using real time (RT) PCR, we serve to quantitatively determine mRNA levels of any gene or operon.

2)      Using b-galactosidase (LacZ) assay, we serve to measure the activity of any given promoter.
